Good for groups who want a boat to themselves without dealing with a yacht broker. Prices are posted and the reviews are strong, but private means no strangers to split the bill with, so it gets steep for two.

Picking a trip

Everything here is private, and that's the whole pitch: you never share a boat with strangers. The menu runs from a snorkel charter to a jet ski ride past Star Island, a sandbar day in Biscayne Bay, a sunset cruise, tubing and wakeboarding, and a 30-minute flyboard session with instruction. The Island Adventure combines boat, jet ski and snorkel in one outing. Every trip comes with a USCG-licensed captain, so nobody in your group has to drive. For a first outing with a mixed group, the sandbar is the easy pick: you anchor in shallow water and float.

What it costs

The site posts real numbers. Snorkel charters start at $80 and kids go free. Sunset cruises start at $60, jet skis are $210 per ski, and the wake package starts at $340. The private boat tour is $240 an hour with a two-hour minimum and room for up to 11, which gets reasonable once you split it. At the top end, the 86-foot Azimut starts at $5,199. The site says there are no hidden fuel fees, but get that in writing anyway. Groups of 13 or more get routed to corporate and group charters.

Where you actually board

The Lenox Avenue address is an office, and the company says plainly not to show up there. Trips leave from licensed commercial marinas: Miami Beach Marina, Venetian Marina & Yacht Club or Rickenbacker Marina. Your exact marina, arrival time and captain's contact come by email with the booking confirmation, so read it the night before. Rickenbacker is across the bay toward Key Biscayne, so plan the drive. The team picks up 9 am to 8 pm every day. The 4.9 from about 550 Google reviews leans on named captains, and Nico gets a lot of credit, including for recovering a lost phone from the water.
