What Dolphin Mall is
Dolphin Mall is an outlet and value mall run by Simon, at 11401 NW 12th St, where the Dolphin Expressway (SR 836) meets Florida's Turnpike, five miles west of Miami International Airport. Simon calls it Miami-Dade County's largest outlet collection, with more than 240 stores, restaurants and entertainment spots.
It is laid out as a long loop with neighborhoods named Moda, Playa and Ramblas, which is how the directory gives locations. Many shoppers come from Latin America, and the mall is set up for them: currency exchange, luggage storage and lockers for people on a layover.

What is inside
The outlets are the reason to go: Saks OFF 5TH in Moda, the Nike Factory Store in Playa, Bloomingdale's The Outlet Store, Coach Outlet, Kate Spade Outlet, the Levi's Outlet Store and Brooks Brothers, plus Marshalls HomeGoods and a Primark at Entry 4.
For a break, the cinema is CMX Cinemas Dolphin 19 & IMAX in Ramblas, and the same side has Bowlero, Dave & Buster's and the PBR Cowboy Bar. Store lists change, so check the directory for a specific brand before you make the trip for it.
Kids Empire Miami Dolphin Mall
An indoor playground inside the mall, in Ramblas near Dave & Buster's: big climbing structures, slides and a toddler zone for ages 1 to 12.
Useful as a trade: one adult shops, the other gets an hour of quiet on a bench while the kids burn off energy. Check the price and rules on their own page before you go.
Before you go
- Florida sales tax is 6%, and Miami-Dade adds a 1% county surtax, so expect 7% on top of the tag
- The Information Booth in Ramblas, near Entry 3, does currency exchange, wheelchair and scooter rentals and sells the mall coupon book
- Lockers are near Entry 3, Entry 8 and Victoria's Secret; Simon listed $10 large and $8 small on an older page, so check on arrival

- Weekday mornings are the quietest time to shop
