Russian & Turkish Baths: the bathhouse locals actually use

The Miami Beach branch of the New York bathhouse sits in the lower lobby of the Castle Beach Club at 5445 Collins Avenue, on the ocean. It has been there since 1994. One admission card costs $65 and covers all the amenities: Finnish, infrared and amethyst saunas, steam and hot rooms, cold plunges, a jacuzzi, a rain room, a relaxation room, a gym, a pool and the beach.

It is co-ed from noon to 10 pm every day. Thursday and Sunday mornings, 8 am to noon, are men only. Multi-visit cards bring the price down: five admissions are $275 and ten are $475, and the cards never expire.

The baths were closed for a long stretch; Miami New Times reported in its Best of Miami 2025 issue that they are back. Their own site now says they are open 365 days a year. This is not a polished resort spa, and that is the point: it is hot rooms, cold water and a long afternoon.

Carillon: the best value resort day pass

Carillon Miami Wellness Resort at 6801 Collins Avenue in North Beach has a wellness area spread over 70,000 square feet. Its Escape For A Day pass costs from $179 Monday to Thursday and from $199 Friday to Sunday. That includes the thermal hydrotherapy circuit, with tropical rain showers, an herbal laconium and hot and cold rooms, plus the cabana pool, beach loungers with a towel and umbrella, and complimentary valet.

Passes are subject to availability and the resort does not sell them to anyone under 18. Book ahead for a weekend.

The Standard, Lapis, the Biltmore and Faena

The Standard on Belle Isle runs its spa daily from 8 am to 10 pm and is adults only. It sells day passes online Monday to Thursday for the pool and third-floor spa amenities; the price is not posted on the page we opened. Non-guests can also get into the hydrotherapy area by booking a treatment over $125 on weekdays or over $225 on weekends.

Lapis, the 40,000-square-foot spa at the Fontainebleau, is built around a shared water journey. The spa's own hours, as shown in search results, are 9:30 am to 6 pm daily. It does not publish prices or day-pass terms online, so call before you plan the day around the water circuit.

In Coral Gables, the Biltmore's spa is open daily from 10 am to 7 pm for guests 18 and over. Its posted couples packages run from $400 for two Sunday to Thursday for a 50-minute massage with a foot treatment, up to $710 for a 110-minute ritual. Faena's Tierra Santa Healing House is a 22,000-square-foot spa on the third floor of the Faena Hotel; book treatments on Faena's site, which does not list prices.
