La Birra Bar is the burger you end a Wynwood night on: Argentine beef, a bun that holds up, and the Golden Burger that keeps collecting trophies.

Why you go

Because at 1 am in Wynwood you want something excellent and you don't want to think. This is an Argentine chain that came to Miami and started winning burger contests almost immediately. The Golden Burger is two patties, a soft bun and a sauce people try to reverse-engineer in the comments. The room is loud, fast and friendly.

When to go

Lunch is easy. Dinner from eight on a weekend means a line, but it moves. The best version of this place is the 1 am one, after the bars, when the whole room is slightly sunburnt and very happy.

Know before you go

Portions are big; one burger and shared fries is plenty. $$ means you'll get out under $25 a head. Six locations around South Florida, but Wynwood is the one with the late hours.

Street parking on NW 24th fills by 8 pm; paid lots along NW 2nd Ave.
