How stadium parking passes work

Hard Rock Stadium parking is prepaid only. You buy the pass online through Ticketmaster before the day; no parking is sold at the gate on game day, and there is no overflow lot. The stadium is cashless everywhere, parking gates included.

The pass is for a lot color, not a space. An Orange pass guarantees an Orange lot but not a particular sublot, and at Dolphins games Orange holders can park where they like for the first hour before attendants start directing cars. Yellow lots are directed from opening, and at Hurricanes games every lot is directed. If you want to tailgate with friends, arrive together in one line of cars.

Some routes are changed by construction: Lots 1, 2, 3, 13 and 14 have adjusted walking routes, and the Black lots a modified driving route, so follow the attendants. No RVs, no box trucks, and nothing in tow, including trailers and grills on hitches.

Accessible parking needs a disabled placard and matching photo ID. Inner-lot accessible spaces need a pre-purchased inner lot ADA Reserved pass for Dolphins and Hurricanes games; accessible spaces in the Yellow lots and Gray Lot 40 are first come, first served, with mobility shuttles on request from Guest Experience.

The shuttle lots: Lot 70 and Lot 95

The GEICO HRS Express, the old Park & Ride, is the stadium's only game-day parking option. You pay $10 to park at Lot 70 in Fort Lauderdale or Lot 95 at the Golden Glades garage, and a free air-conditioned shuttle takes you to the north side of the stadium via the Florida Turnpike.

It is also the stadium's own advice for rideshare: get dropped at Lot 70 or 95 and take the shuttle, rather than walking from Lot 44. For Hurricanes games in 2026 the university lists Lot 70 at $10 while supplies last.

Tailgating rules

  • Gas and charcoal grills are allowed; bonfires and pit fires are not
  • One parking space per vehicle; set up in the 8 by 10 foot space marked behind your car, and do not save spaces
  • Put out hot coals, let them cool, bag them and use a bin; never dump briquettes on the ground
  • No kegs, funnels or drinking games, and no box trucks or anything towed
  • Music at a reasonable volume with no explicit lyrics; no professional DJ setups
  • Clean your area before you go in, and remember there is no re-entry
  • Bags in the stadium: clear up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, or a small bag up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches
