What the $69.99 tour includes
Miami Culinary Tours' Little Havana Food and Cultural Tour is the one most people mean by a Little Havana food tour. Its page lists five tastings that it says add up to a full meal: a Cuban sandwich made for the tour, a beef picadillo empanada, handmade croquetas, a guava and cheese pastelito and churros. Drinks include a rum mojito, a Cuban sangria at Ball & Chain, fresh guarapo (sugarcane juice) and a Cuban colada coffee, with non-alcoholic versions of the cocktails. There is also a visit to a cigar factory. The company warns that restaurant stops may change.
The walk covers about half a mile with rest stops, and the page says the route is wheelchair accessible and stroller-friendly. Tours run rain or shine. Vegetarian, no-meat and lactose-free swaps are possible with notice, gluten-free swaps come with a cross-contamination warning, and life-threatening allergies cannot be catered for. The page contradicts itself on vegan, so ask before booking.
Cancel at least 24 hours ahead, in writing, for a full refund. Inside 24 hours there is no refund.
Miami Culinary Tours
Groups top out at 14 guests and several tours run each day; start times are on the booking calendar on its own site. Child prices apply, but the page does not give an age range.
Parking: the company points to the lot behind Domino Park at SW 8th Street and 15th Avenue, which it says is usually free, then metered spaces on 8th Street. The same company runs South Beach tours at $69.99 and Wynwood and Design District tours at $89.99, and quotes private groups of 10 to 150.
The cheaper listing, and its catch
A second Little Havana food walk is sold on Tripster, Expedia, GuruWalk and other resellers. Tripster listed it at $64.99 for adults in October 2026, down from $69.99. It lasts about two hours, covers 10 to 12 short blocks, keeps small groups to 15 and meets at the entrance of La Colada Gourmet. Arrive 20 minutes early.
The catch is what is included. Tripster lists tastings such as empanadas, croquetas, guava pastries and Cuban coffee, and says other food and drinks are extra. We could not find a first-party site for the operator, so read the reseller's refund terms before paying; Tripster allows free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
Hora a hora
- 11:00Sanguich · Start west at 2057 SW 8th St, open daily 10 am to 6 pm. The Michelin Guide has given it a Bib Gourmand every year from 2022 to 2026. Order the Cubano; prices are on its online ordering page.
- 12:00El Rey de las Fritas · Walk east to 1821 SW 8th St for a frita: a seasoned beef patty with chopped onion and thin fries on Cuban bread. Its site does not list hours, so check before you go.
- 1:00Domino Park · At SW 15th Avenue. Watch the games from the benches; the tables are for club members.

El Rey De Las Fritas
The frita is Miami's Cuban hamburger, and this is the name most people know. Its site describes the original as a 100% ground-beef patty with the family's spice blend, chopped onions and julienne fries in a Cuban bread bun. Versions add cheese, a fried egg, or fried cheese and sweet plantains.
The Calle 8 shop is one of four. The site does not list hours or prices, and its listings disagree, so check its current hours before you plan around it.
Versailles Restaurant Cuban Cuisine
The Cuban restaurant on Calle Ocho since 1971, about 20 avenues west of Domino Park. It opens at 8 am Monday to Saturday and 9 am on Sunday, and closes at midnight, or 1 am on Friday and Saturday.
It is too far to fold into a walking crawl, so treat it as a separate stop by car or rideshare: a late dinner after Ball & Chain, or breakfast before the walk.
