Cru Lounge Wynwood
A hookah lounge on NE 2nd Ave from the Cru chain, with sweet cocktails, wings and jerk pasta, open until 3 am most nights.
Checked October 2026
Good for a group that wants hookah, a DJ and strong sugary drinks well past midnight. The trade-off: it's a chain playbook, it's smoky, and bottle service adds up fast.
What to drink
The cocktail list leans sweet and strong. The Cru Rita is built on Teremana and comes in house, pineapple, mango, peach, strawberry or spicy. The Whiskey Island is a Long Island made with three whiskeys and a splash of Coke. Liquid Hemp is the green house signature: coconut rum, spiced rum, melon liqueur and Blue Curaçao. For something less sugary, the classics list has a Paloma, an Old Fashioned and a French 75. Beer is the usual lineup, Corona to Michelob Ultra. One odd rule: the Cru Mule only comes in disposable cups. This is a chain-wide menu that says selections vary by location, so ask what's pouring.
Hookah and late plates
Hookah is half the point here, and the brand pitches it alongside live DJs and playlists. The food is late-night bar food that's meant for a shared table at 1 am. Cru Cut Wings come seven to an order with sauces from lemon pepper to jerk, and all drums or all flats costs $2 extra. There's Rasta Pasta in a creamy jerk sauce, lamb lollipops over mashed potatoes, a salmon or steak Philly and fried rice. Expect smoke in the air all night. If hookah isn't your thing, this probably isn't your room.
Saturday and the tab
Saturday is the only day it opens in the afternoon, at 2 pm, and the menu carries a brunch section: bottomless mimosas, a green mimosa, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, build-your-own omelettes. Every other day it's a night spot: 8 pm to 3 am Tuesday through Friday, 7 pm to 2 am on Sunday and Monday. The brand advertises no cover and no minimum. Bottles are where the bill climbs, with tax and 20% gratuity added to all bottle service and a list running from Tito's to Clase Azul. It sits at 4.5 from about 290 Google reviews.
Reservations
VIP tables can be reserved ahead, but walk-ins are welcome and there's no cover according to the brand.
