Why you go

Because the grill is the point. KYU cooks Asian-style over fire, with sashimi on the cold side of the menu and a cocktail list that holds up. It is one of the few Wynwood rooms that feels like a destination rather than a stop between walls.

When to go

Dinner from 5 pm Monday and Tuesday, and from noon Wednesday to Sunday. It closes at 10 pm Sunday to Wednesday and 11 pm Thursday to Saturday. A weekday lunch is the calm way in; weekend dinners need a booking.
